# Media credits

Every file in `public/media/` comes from [Pexels](https://www.pexels.com) and is used under the [Pexels licence](https://www.pexels.com/license/) (free for commercial and non-commercial use, no attribution required). We credit anyway.

Images were fetched as resized JPEG variants (max 1920px wide). Videos were downloaded at 720p, trimmed to 12s, stripped of audio and re-encoded to H.264 (`-an -crf 23 -movflags +faststart`); each has a poster frame extracted with ffmpeg.

The machine-readable version of this list is `app/content/media.ts`.
